Sob stories only bring out the weakness in others
Making them feel guilty about the life they live
Without regret and answers
To people who are so disconnected that they need a phone to stay in touch
With life
I’m tired of living in your box
And conforming to your ideals
Of whom I should be
Maybe I see this as a test
Maybe you’re interfering with my process
I’m stuck in this cocoon that you’ve wrapped me in
My wings are decaying from over-incubation
I’m cooking inside this hell of a mind
My eyes burn from the light that goes off in my head
Over and over again
I live epiphanies every day, because I fail to see
